Three weeks to go

Thank you for participating in the Apps for Working Government Challenge! Three weeks remain in the submission period. Apps are due June 19, 2013.

Organized by ChallengePost, alongside partners Sunlight Foundation, Personal Democracy Media, the Monkey Cage, and No Labels, this challenge is designed to recognize the best apps that can help improve government transparency and effectiveness. Your work could play a significant part in reducing partisan gridlock and increasing legislative productivity.

We'll be offering $5,000 in prizes for the best new and existing applications.

If you haven't started yet, there are still three weeks left to get your submission together. Start by exploring interesting data and APIs and examples of educational tools and solutions & action tools, or join a thread on the discussion forum.

You're part of a dynamic community of civic innovators and policy enthusiasts, and we can't wait to see what you can do to help improve our government.
